Children in Afghanistan need your help

For a long time, Afghanistan has been one of the most dangerous places to be a child. War, destruction and loss has been the common place for children, families and communities in Afghanistan. But now, the escalation of violence in the country makes their situation even more desperate.

Families are fleeing their homes, children are being recruited by armed groups and are severely traumatized after witnessing atrocities no human being should see.

Hundreds of children have been killed and over 1,000 injured, with more and more being left in urgent need of food, water and medical supplies.

Afghanistan’s children should not pay for this crisis with their childhoods.

They need protection and peace now.

UNICEF has been working in Afghanistan for the past 65 year, and will continue to do so, no matter what.

So far in 2021, UNICEF helped 1.7 million people through humanitarian assistance, but much more aid is needed when facing this new scenario.

UNICEF is urgently scaling-up its response to deliver life-saving health and nutrition supplies.

We’re committed to stay and deliver.
